Ideally agents will be well respected businesses in their locality. Preferably the business will be NHBC registered. If not NHBC registered it must be able to recommend a suitably qualified professional able to supervise the work and issue the CML (Council of Mortgage Lenders) Professional Consultant Certificate.
There is no cost involved in becoming an agent but we expect the agent to be pro-active in promoting and selling Cottage Kit Homes, using the tools we provide.
Typically, agents will build between 5 and 50 houses each year and we expect agents to sell at least five Cottage Kit Homes a year. Agents need to be small enough to care and provide a personal service to customers but big enough, or ambitious enough, to cope with demand.
